Miitomo: new update coming soon (new mini game, various options, more)

It’s been almost a full month since the last major udpate for Miitomo (that was on June 30th), and it looks like it’s already time for the next one. This new update will bring something users have been requestion for a while: a new mini-game, called Candy Drop.

Unfortunately, we don’t know what that game is like, but let’s hope it’s not just a reskinned version of Miitomo Drop… Talking of Candy, you will no longer need it in order to listen to friend’s answers when you visit them in their room.

The new update for Miitomo will also add various options, including one that lets you chose whether you want to save the Miifoto of the Day, and who can visit your room. Finally, there will also be various improvements, including one for the image quality of Miitofoto saved to your device.

Here’s the official changelog in English:

• Candy Drop, a game where you drop sweets to get Game Tickets!
• You’ll be able to listen to all your friends’ answers in their rooms without paying sweets!
• You’ll be able to choose whether or not to receive the Miifoto of the Day!
• You’ll be able to chose who visits your room!
• Improved image quality of Miifotos you save to your device!
• Various improvements to performance and functions.

We don’t quite know when this new update will land, but we can expect it sometime this week (or early next week at the very latest).
