E3 2015: Miiverse community, more details about the Nintendo World Championships

E3 2015 starts in just a couple of days (June 16th for the event itself, but this Sunday for Nintendo!), which means it’s high time for the E3 2015 Miiverse community to open!
Just like E3 2013 and E3 2014, there’s actually two communities:
– Nintendo @ E3 2015 Community: open to everyone, it’s where people need to go if they want to give their impressions about Nintendo’s announcements at E3!
This is your Miiverse destination to talk all things Nintendo@E3 2015. We would love to hear your thoughts on what we announced! (This community will only stay open for a limited time. We’ll announce when the community will close at a later date.)
– Game News, Videos and Events: only for verified users from Nintendo, and it’s where announcements will be made regarding E3.

Nintendo World Championships
One of the games playable during the Nintendo World Championships, this Sunday, is The Legend of Zelda (on NES). The challenge for this game consists in a speedrun, but not of the full game (for obvious reasons). Instead, players will have to reach the end of the first dungeon as fast possible: the first player to raise the Triforce piece will win!

Nintendo also announced that there would be two special guests for the Nintendo World Championships 2015… the winners of the original Nintendo World Championships, back in 1990! Jeff Hansen and Thor Aackerlund will be guests of honors during the 2015 edition of the tournament.

E3 2015 will take place on June 16-18th in Los Angeles. The Nintendo World Championships 2015 will take place on Sunday, June 14th.
