Dragon Ball Fusions (3DS) rated in Brazil, available for pre-order at some GameStop stores

Update (September 17th): according to an employee, some GameStop stores have already started taking pre-orders for Dragon Ball Fusions. It looks like the game will cost $29.99 (just like Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden). It’s probably safe to assume a proper announcement will be made pretty soon!

There’s been quite a few Dragon Ball games on Nintendo 3DS already: Dragon Ball Heroes (two of them), Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden, and Dragon Ball Fusions. This one is a bit different from the others: it’s a full-fledged RPG with turn-based battles. As the name implies, its main focus is on fusions, and it allows players to create completely impossible and crazy combinations.

Dragon Ball Fusions came out on August 4th in Japan, and has already sold over 125 000 units. So far, Bandai-Namco hasn’t announced anything regarding a European and/or North American release, but it looks like there is some hope for fans of the Dragon Ball series.

Yesterday, Gematsu found out that Dragon Ball Fusions was recently rated by the Brazil Advisory Rating Board. This means Bandai-Namco is planning to release the game in that country. Of course, it would be pretty unusual for the publisher to release it only in Brazil, so we can safely assume Europe and the Americas will also get the game.

Naturally, nothing is confirmed at this point. If Bandai-Namco is really planning to release Dragon Ball Fusions outside Japan, we can expect an announcement to made within the new few weeks/months (maybe during tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct presentation?).
