Monster Hunter Stories: two new collaborations (Chibi Maruko-chan, Puzzle & Dragons X)

On the second day of the Tokyo Game Show 2016, Capcom revealed not one, but two additional collaborations for Monster Hunter Stories.

The first one is with Puzzle & Dragons X. It was expected, since there’s already a collaboration with Monster Hunter Stories in Puzzle & Dragons X (players can take on some special quests, with Monster Hunter monsters to battle and make Soul Armour from). Thanks to this collaboration, players will be able to get the following:

  • a special Otomon (Kurenai Goukami / Crimson Goukami)
  • a special armour based on that Otomon
  • a Tamazo costume for Nabiru

Here’s the trailer for that collaboration, along with some pictures:

The second collaboration is with the popular Chibi Maruko-chan series. Originally a manga, it’s been adapted as an anime series. The latest one is one of the longest-running in Japan: it’s been airing pretty much non-stop since 1995, and boasts over 1000 episodes in total!

Thanks to this collaboration, players will be able to get the following:

  • a special costume Chibi Maruko-chan costume for Nabiru

Here’s the trailer for that collaboration, along with some pictures:
