Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3: details about Edit Mode, screenshots and videos

Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3

With less than two weeks until release in Europe (on June 26th), Koei-Tecmo has revealed new details about Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3, and more precisely the Edit Mode. Taken from Samurai Warriors 4, it allows players to create their very own character, with lots of facial features, armours, weapons and accessories to chose from.

What’s more, it’s even possible to wear the default costumes of the famous warriors, once you’ve befriended them. Just like in the first Samurai Warriors Chronicles game, you need to pay particular attention to the relationship between your characters and the warriors / generals. You can interact with them, listen to them, and more. All this can alter the outcome of battles, alliances, and even the conclusion of the game.

Here’s some new screenshots for Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3, which focus on the Edit Mode:

And finally, here’s two gameplay videos for the male and female protagonists (recorded from the PS Vita version):

Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 (3DS eShop) comes out on June 26th in Europe, and June 30th in North America.
