Lost Castle announced for the Nintendo Switch

A few days ago, Another Indie and Bonfire Entertainement announced that Lost Castle was headed to the Nintendo Switch. But it’s not the only game Another Indie has in the works for Nintendo’s new console: there’s also Lost Castle, this time developed by Hunter Studios.

Lost Castle is described as an ‘action RPG beat’em up with roguelike elements and randomized dungeons”… that’s quite the mouthful! It takes place in Castle Harwood, which used to be governed by nobles. By evil soon came upon the land, and the peaceful days soon became mere memories. Torture, murder, enslavement… the demons definitely were not kind with the people!

What’s more, they soon began to look beyond the castle, hoping to invade surrounding area. In order to stop them, brave warriors from all around the world come to Castle Harwood.

Here’s the main features:

  • Rogue-like and massive random contents.
  • 70+ items and 50+ potions with various effects.
  • 100+ weapons and 50+ armor. Various attack actions with different types of weapons.
  • Randomly generated dungeons, items, enemies and bosses.
  • Sacrifice system: Level up your hero and gain new abilities.
  • Singleplayer campaign or co-op for two players.

Lost Castle features a soundtrack composed by SonoTrigger.

Finally, here’s a trailer (from the PC version) and some screenshots for the game:

Lost Castle (Switch) will be released later this year in Europe and North America. The Upcoming Releases page has been udpated!
