- Experts can explore the world of Angry Birds, visiting Cobalt Plateaus, Bamboo Forest and Pig City
- Three new POIs on the Digiverse Expedition Map, containing nine new exhibits, including brand new roaming Wildlife Exhibits

- Angry Birds items for the Gift Shop

The Digiverse map will grow over time as new games are discovered, providing new exhibits, decorations and gameplay

- New rewards for higher Curator Class levels have been introduced. These will be automatically unlocked if you’ve already reached the associated Curator Class:

Wildlife Exhibit Trait Updates
- Wildlife exhibits have received updates and balance passes:
- Golden Truffle Pig: Truffle Shuffle Trait – May find money and Golden Truffles (Science) when truffling
- Sniffr and Aardbark: Mound Muncher Trait – If these animals have a Termite Mound in their enclosure, their food need will decay slower
- Zig-Zebra and Sprungbok: Grass Grazer Trait – If these animals have a Grass decoration in their enclosure, their food need will decay slower
- Woolly Jumper and Skyland Cow: Papa Bear Trait – Increased Buzz after parenting offspring
- Dandy Lion and Sonic Wolf: Pack Animal Trait – Sharing an enclosure with an animal of the same species slows Health decay
- Paper Crane: Gift Card Trait – Increases desire to visit, and spend in, a gift shop
- Snowball Moth: Let It Snow Trait – Increases guest Buzz from Frozen Finds exhibits
- Omnivore Trait: The Sniffr, Golden Truffle Pig and Cat-Faced Tree Bear can now all survive on either plant food or meat
New Cursed Object Traits
- All newly discovered Cursed Object exhibits can now have the following new curses:
- Intangibly Instructive: Contains otherworldly complexities that improve learning. Double XP when Restored.
- Fish Whispers: Murmurs a gentle Marine Life Ambience. Like a seashell.
- Ghostly Greed: Possessed by a phantom that desires wealth. Boosts donations (10%).
- Icy Heart: Emits a frosty chill from deep within. Makes guests cold.
- Looting Lust: Yearns to return to its diabolical masters. Higher chance of being stolen.
- Soulless: Spiritual inactivity that disappoints phantom fans. Reduces Supernatural Enthusiasts Buzz (-5%)
QoL Improvements
- New Sandbox Mode options:
- Unlock All POIs
- This sets all POIs to start unlocked and available for expeditions except Digiverse POIs
- Max Survey Level
- This sets all POIs (including locked POIs) to start at their max survey level, meaning Pristine exhibits can be found immediately
- Unlock All POIs
- Items that are part of DLC, seasonal content or mods now have different colour backgrounds in the items menu to help differentiate them
- Seasonal content can now be manually changed in the settings menu. This allows players to select any season (Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter or None) to be active in the game
- The inventory menu can now filter exhibits, utilities and interactive displays by their theme
- Added new option for simultaneous yaw/pitch mouse control in Settings
- An “Open Crate” button now appears on the expedition progress widget when the expedition is complete
- Guests will no longer view empty Habitat Rooms, Polterguest Rooms or Aquariums. Guests also no longer complain that there are no Info Stands nearby after viewing them
- When hiring experts, their traits will now be relevant to their specialisation (for example, Prehistory applicants will no longer spawn with the “Sea Legs” trait, and Marine Life applicants will be more likely to have it)
- Right-clicking Revenge of the Savage Planet workshop items when holding them will no longer sell them and will instead send them to the inventory
- If a decoration has both a theme and a subcategory assigned to it, its Buzz bonuses will now stack and give a bigger boost when placed next to appropriate exhibits
- Increased the range of the Standing Ambience Speaker; it now has the highest range of all speakers
- All vending machines can now be placed inside or outside
- Gnawn Wood POI: Rebalanced its drop table so that the Nibbledon Skeleton appears more often
- Bungle Burrows POIs: Rebalanced all POIs’ drop tables so that their perks are distributed evenly
- When viewing an exhibit in the sticker book, it now shows how many are in the player’s current museum
- Significantly improved the messaging of perks when installing them. Each perk now correctly states which specific exhibit or item it requires
- Reduced the amount of Buzz required in late-game objectives at the Pointy Mountains museum
- Updated the Museum Level tooltip to include qualification levels when calculating “Average Staff Skills”
- Improved the messaging for POI unlocks that didn’t require Kudosh
- Improved controller navigation on exhibit inspectors in large UI scaling
- Added “Near any Botany decoration” as a new possible Buzz Bonus for the Blooming Buffoon exhibit
- Added colour picker option to Hand Sanitiser
- Items from the same seasonal content (e.g., Summer) are now grouped together when viewing them in the items list
- Improved the polaroid background colours for items and exhibits
- Hedge items now provide decoration to nearby exhibits
- Completing a plot objective no longer hides the objective on the purchase plot panel
- Updated rug swatch icons so that they’re all in a consistent format
- Allowed the decorative lamp post item to be placeable inside
- Meat Wizard POIs now use a pixelated version of the Perfect Excavation event
Zooseum Changes:
- The Habitat Room’s Breeding Hutch now provides details on animal breeding chances and breeding details, similar to the Aquarium’s Egg Cup
- Selecting the ‘Detailed’ option on Wildlife POI expeditions now adds a positive Biodiversity event to the possible pool of events
- When guests view a baby animal, they’ll gain a temporary happiness and donation boost. This is multiplied for the Painted Panda
- The Egg Cup and Breeding Hutch will now tell the player that animals can’t breed when there’s no more space in the room
- Added the ability to send an animal to the Wildlife Welfare room from the animal’s inspector
- When an animal is born, the player now receives a notification with a button which takes the player to the baby animal
- Improved messaging when placing an animal into the Wildlife Welfare room who doesn’t have Farflung Flu and the room doesn’t have any Spa items
- Rebalanced Wildlife expert behaviour so that they’ll better prioritise poo picking when in a Habitat Room. Experts will now also only perform one “petting” interaction per Habitat room visit
- Farflung Flu now has a visible VFX on animals to help better message that they need treatment
- Terrarium and Habitat animals can no longer be selected to sell when going through the bankruptcy flow
- Terrariums and Habitat rooms can now be cycled through via the arrows at the top of their inspector
- An animal’s favourite staff member can now be selected from their polaroid in the animal’s inspector
- Habitat Rooms and Terrariums now display a Cleanliness icon above them when their Cleanliness is low
- You can now see how many colour variants an animal has by hovering over the quality icon in their inspector
- Temporary traits (Such as Farflung Flu for animals) now appear in their own subheading section
- Releasing an animal or curing them in the Wildlife Welfare room now rewards a perk
- Baby animals now clearly display as babies in the exhibit inventory menu
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where guests and inspections would incorrectly say that there aren’t enough Info Stands in the museum
- Fixed incorrect costs of Digital Info Stands
- Fixed misaligned animations for Staff Room coffee machines
- Fixed an issue where the finance menu wouldn’t show all possible price customisation options in the museum
- Fixed price customisation not being adjustable in the finances menu when using a controller
- Fixed an issue where the Troll Temple POI wasn’t appearing in the Bone Belt after completing the pop-up challenge
- The DNA Designer machine now correctly assigns archetype traits to guests who use it
- Fixed an issue where the Total Buzz endless sandbox mode would stop triggering objectives
- Fixed an issue where the tannoy would always say a staff member had gone MIA when returning from Revenge of the Savage Planet POIs
- Fixed an issue where Professor guests would stop donating after reaching 30 Knowledge

- Fixed the exhibit quality widget not refreshing when language is changed

- Fixed an issue where the Knowledge vis mode would disappear if an item was selected
- Fixed instances where security guards could get stuck indefinitely when trying to empty a donation stand
- Fixed staff members who have the Aerodynamics qualification not picking up trays in the cafeteria
- Zapper fish no longer instantly die if sold to a collector
- Fixed an issue where sometimes an exhibit would display negative Buzz when sent to the inventory
- Fixed an issue where the Frozen Gift exhibit could be lost forever if the player save and loaded during a specific animation
Fantasy Finds Fixes:
- Additional Fantasy stats acquired from qualifications or traits are now correctly added to a candidate’s stats when viewing them in the hiring menu
- Fixed misaligned animations for Dwarves and Goblins drinking from the Drinking Fountain
- Fixed Fantasy stat names overlapping with Fantasy icons in the expedition setup screen
- If mythical gear is repossessed, it now correctly removes the gear from the staff member who has it equipped
- Fixed a Fantasy tryptic that showed a Barbarian staff member with a third hand
Zooseum Fixes:
- Removing dead animals no longer implies that you’re releasing them back into the wild
- Fixed an issue where selling dead animals was rewarding their full Sanctuary Points
- Fix for the negative billions sanctuary points some players were experiencing when trying to release an animal.
- Dead animals can no longer be placed in the spa
- Fixed incorrect text for “Favourite Staff Member” on dead animals
- Fixed an issue where the Wildlife inspector would always fail Habitat room cleanliness
- Fixed Habitat Room centrepiece items clipping through the floor when moving them
- Stopped animals from gaining Sanctuary Points while in the inventory
- Fixed an issue where the Cabin Snail’s offspring wouldn’t count towards the “Sorry for the Litter…” achievement
- Fixed an issue where animals with the Herbivore Diet weren’t harming herbivores
- Fixed children using a Viewing Dome on large terrariums when no dome was installed
- Fixed an issue where certain parts of the UI weren’t correctly tracking terrariums if they were in the player’s inventory
- Fixed incorrect POI image for Waterfall Downs
- Fixed an issue where dead terrarium animals could remain after the terrarium had been sold

- Optimisation pass on all levels
- Reduced the ‘Cold Feet’ area of effect applied to characters from the Ice Crystal exhibit explosion, down from 50m to 5m (the entire building is no longer affected)

QoL Improvements
- Improved the contrast of the Habitat Density slider dial so that it’s easier to see
- Improved messaging for animals gaining Knowledge in the Spa Devices
- Improved messaging when trying to place an animal in the Deconstructor
- Improved messaging around an animal’s current Sanctuary Points progress: it should now be much clearer how much Biodiversity and Sanctuary Points you’ll gain when releasing an animal
- Wildlife decoration items can now be placed in the Wildlife Welfare Room
- Rebalanced the “Somebody is stuck in the museum” tannoy line so that it only triggers for serious navigation issues
- Slightly narrowed the build bounds of the Small Terrarium so it can be placed flush against angled walls
- Reduced the max number of POIs required for some challenging Biodiversity objectives
- Improved the messaging of the Spa Day trait to help explain its benefits
- More idle animations for a variety of Habitat animals

Zooseum Taster
- All players can now access
- Silverbottom Park, a new museum location

Improvements & Fixes
Quality of Life Improvements
- Significant overhaul to the exhibit inspector UI. This change aims to improve readability and front-load key information:
- Spirit, Fish and Animal exhibit inspectors now have sub-tabs which reorganise their key information
- Spirit, fish and animals now show their quality on their associated room UI when viewed in the exhibit list
- Font sizes for additional exhibit features, such as messiness and spirit patience, have been reworked to be more readable
- The cause of death for fish and animals has been updated to be clearer
- Exhibit descriptions now have a dedicated place in the details tab of the exhibit inspector
- Modified aquarium capacity calculations so that smaller aquariums receive a slightly higher capacity. Minimum-sized aquariums are not affected, but the room size required to reach a capacity of 4 fish and above has been reduced.
- We will continue to monitor fish capacity and player feedback on this issue
- The Marketing Room Bean Bag now provides a small amount of energy when used by staff
- Added a trait to the Lava Lamp to explain that it increases the nearby temperature
- Haunted TV – Added Amusing trait
- Reduced Prosperity Potion workshop cost from $15,000 to $1,750
- Added the Unique trait to the unique Vampire Survivors exhibits
Fixes
- Fantasy experts restoring exhibits now gain +5XP instead of +3XP

How to download updates for Two Point Museum on Nintendo Switch 2?
To download the updates for Two Point Museum, you have three options:
- let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off
If not…
- try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
OR
- select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.
To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
