Offline game mode is now default
Performance optimizations that should have big impact on lower-end
Bots now scale in difficulty based on rank. So new players should win more often then loose
Stack-up outfit is now unlocked by default
Reduced matchmaking time from max 2 minutes to 1
Bandit players can now late join up to 90 seconds instead of 60. Should drive players earlier towards each other
Improved win-condition for the Bandits. Treasure collect detection was a bit un-fair
Some smaller QoL fixes

How to download updates for Bandit Trap on Nintendo Switch 2?

To download the updates for Bandit Trap, you have three options:

let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
