【Eggyverse & Workshop Updates】

I. New Item Equipment System 

The Item Equipment System introduces a new way to display item usage, allowing items to be truly equipped and used. With this system, you can create firearms, weapons, and other entities to “equip” and “use”!

The following are function updates related to item equipment:

1. Item Related

> A new “Selected State” has been added. Tapping an item slot will activate the selected state, and new related function Eggy Codes have been introduced.

> New properties have been added: “Eggy Display When Item Is Selected” and “Holding Animation Display”. These allow you to edit the mounted units and animation display on the Eggy when the item is selected.

> New property “Stacking Type” has been added, along with chargeable items, and the “Initial Stacks” property.

> A set of firearm item prefabs has been added. You can use the prefab effects as a reference to create your own item equipment.

2. Rules

> The gameplay rules now include Weapon Item Rules, allowing you to equip items directly without needing to edit the interface.

3. UI Editor

> New firearms item grid style added.

> A batch of firearm and weapon icons has been added to the image icon category.

4. Skill Editing

> New anchors have been added for item equipment, including “Firing Special Effect Bullet”, “Create Special Effect on Part”, and “Casting Disable Interval”.

> Adjust anchors used for item equipment, including “Fire Explosive Projectiles in Arc”, “Play Animation (Instant)”, and others.

 

【Manor Adjustments & Optimizations】

1. Fixed the issue where the Duplicate operation could move units to the Farm area. Players can recover edited units in the Farm through Decorate → Edit Log.

2. Fixed the issue with the Beauty of Eggyverse custom units in the Manor.

3. Fixed the issue of incorrect Beauty display in Sandbox Mode.

4. Fixed the issue where the Pearl Exchange guide might out proceed as intended.

5. Fixed the issue where Seashells were mistakenly sent as Otto’s Return Gift.

6. Fixed the issue with the display of avatars and Egg Rank in the Manor chat list.

7. Fixed the issue of the red dot anomaly in the Manor chat box.

8. Fixed the issue of inaccurate Intensity display in the Blueprint Shop.

9. Fixed the issue of some interface text exceeding the frame.

10. Optimized the camera transition for Farm teleportation.

11. Added a “Steal” button in the Visit Others interface, allowing players to steal others’ crops without going home! 

12. Added a feature that allows players to gift membership to their Eggy Friends.

  1. The Manor system is officially launched! After logging in, each Eggy will receive their own Manor and house plate number. The earlier you claim it, the greater the chance of getting a rare house plate number!
  2. You can freely decorate and modify your own Manor. Unleash unlimited creativity and create your own unique Manor. What’s even better is that you can invite Eggy friends to gather in the Manor, sharing joyful gaming moments together!
  3. In the Manor, not only do you have a great selection of furniture and decorations, but there are also plenty of gameplay options waiting for you to participate in. I. Fright Night Escape

  1. New Hunter “Raymond the Caged Beast” debuts! Raymond, the Caged Beast, accumulates energy while pursuing his revenge target, awakening a beast form that significantly enhances his offensive capabilities. Eggy can exchange for the permanent access to “Raymond the Caged Beast” using Fun Coins in the character interface at the mode entrance.
  2. The character selection interface gets a complete makeover! Players can check out detailed information on different Survivors/Hunters during the character selection phase of a match or in Mode – Character interface.
Gameplay Optimization:
  1. Optimized the prompt display of in-game dialogue. Now you can quickly understand the positions and role information of teammates.
  2. Optimized the display of struggle progress in the game.
  3. Optimized the display of Survivors lifting multiple Demolition Master bombs simultaneously.
II. Map Update
The parkour map “Autumn Day” created by the player “滚滚起司球” has now been added to Casual Party. Go give it a try!

【System Update】
I. Eggyhood Leaderboard Rules Update
Effective after 30 Dec, 0:00 (UTC+8)
  1. The Leaderboard has been changed from displaying the top 100 to the top 200
  2. When a player leaves their Eggyhood, their contributed Eggyhood Activity for the week will be deducted, but the progress of the Piggy Chest will be retained
  3. The highest Activity achieved in Eggyhood during the week will be counted in the Leaderboard, so you don’t have to worry about the ranking being affected if members quit!
II. Friendship Update
  1. The maximum Friendship Level with friends can now reach Lv. 5, and upon achieving it, you can also receive a corresponding Title!

    • 1. Added a new map leaderboard, where you can filter by tags such as “New,” “Popular,” and “Original” to view the daily trending maps.
    • 2. Optimized the Trending Worldwide leaderboard. You can switch between “Global” and “Region” buttons to experience the charm of creators from different regions.
  • II. Story Animation Update
    • 1. The “Video Camera” track will directly display the camera entity in the scene, allowing for quick track selection and previewing the camera’s position during playback.
    • 2. Added an “Aimed Video Camera” track. After setting an entity of another track as the target, the camera will always look at that target.
    • 3. The “Video Camera” type track has a new “Follow” sub-track, allowing the camera to follow the movement of entities on other tracks for a period of time, with the camera’s position offset relative to the followed target.
    • 4. The “Actor” track’s action segments can now select custom actions created through the “Action Generation” function.
    • 5. Added a display track function. After selecting a track, it will show the motion trajectory of its entity.

    • 2. Creatures now have an “Enable Firearm Aiming Effect” attribute. When disabled, the outline effect will not be displayed when aimed at by certain firearms.
    • 3. Prefab Editing now supports displaying the origin and center of gravity positions of units in the scene.
    • 4. The Finish Line guidance function no longer inherits the toggle status and adds a time limit. It can only be used after entering the map for a period of time.
    • 5. More units now support material parameters such as “Roughness” and “Self-illumination Intensity.”
    • 6. “Creature” units now include HP Bar height and width scaling, as well as HP Bar height offset.
    • 7. The “Collision Display” function now supports viewing the collision capsule of creatures.
    • 8. After syncing the Arrowhead of the Checkpoint Volume to the Prefab, the Arrowhead can maintain its relative position to the volume.

      • 1. Eggy Bomb: Added a “Irritable” mechanic. After 1s of skill activation, it enters a “Irritable” state, where colliding with an enemy will prematurely end the countdown and detonate the bomb immediately.
      • 2. Snowball: Snowball rolling speed increased by 15%, duration extended by 2s, and cooldown reduced by 1s.
      • 3. Gravity Bomb: The flight speed of the Gravity Bomb has been increased by 15%. The effect radius has been increased by 0.5 meters. The attraction after detonation has been increased by 10%. The mass deducted from attracted players has been increased by 50%.

      • 1. Eggy Strike: Movement Speed and Displacement Distance reduced by 20%.

How to download updates for Eggy Party for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Eggy Party, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
