[Update] PokéNews (Sept. 17) – Pokémon GO Plus: Japan to get new shipment in November; more

Update: The Pokémon Company announced today that new shipments for the Pokémon GO Plus accessory would be available from November 4th in Japan, at the following stores: Pokémon Center, Pokémon Stores, Pokémon Expo Gym, Pokémon Center Online.

Pokémon GO Plus

Yesterday, Pokémon GO Plus (an accessory that lets you play Pokémon GO without having to look at your smartphone all the time) was released in many countries around the world. In Japan, it looks like it sold out pretty quickly: Nintendo even posted a notice on its official website to notify players about shortages.

The company also confirms that more units are currently in production, and that there would be a new shipment sometime in early November. There will be additional shipments after that one, too.

That notice only applies to Japan, but it looks like shortages are also to be expected in other countries. Unfortunately, it’s not clear when they will get additional shipments…

Pokémon Sun and Moon (anime)

Thanks to the Pokémon Fan magazine, we have some additional pictures for the Pokémon Sun and Moon anime series. There’s an artwork of Satoshi / Ash, but also a screenshot that shows him with his mother and Mr Mime (implying he actually moves to the Alola region, just like the protagonist in the game).
