Pokémon GO

Since the latest Global Challenge for Pokémon GO was successful, players have unlocked Moltres Day: it will take place on September 8th!

But that’s not all: a new Spinda form can now be found in the game: you can get it by making a great curveball throw. Also, Shiny Growlithe can be found in the wild, and Silver Pinap Berries can be obtained via Research Tasks.

Also, Niantic has shared some stats about the Safari Zone event in Yokosuka in Japan:

  • 65 000 Trainers visited at least one of the three parks that comprised the event,
  • said trainers walked an average distance of 3.75 km per person
  • said trainers caught a combined average of 3.1M Pokémon each day.
  • 200 000 Trainers visited the city of Yokosuka during the event.

Finally, here’s the latest episode of the Pokémon GO Travel video series:

Pokémon Sun and Moon – Anime

Following the announcement of Unshou Ishizuka’s death, last week, TV Tokyo has revealed the name of the voice actor who will replace him as the voice of Professor Okido (Oak in the English version). It’s none other than Kenyu Horiuchi, that some of you probably remember as Pain in Naruto Shippuuden. His first appearance will be in the episode airing on October 21st.
