Pokkén Tournament (Arcade)

Back in July, Bandai-Namco added a new Battle Pokémon to the Arcade version of Pokkén Tournament: Darkrai. This Pokémon isn’t available in the Wii U version of the game, and we don’t know if/when it will be added. And the same applies to the new Battle Pokémon that Bandai-Namco will reveal next week, on October 13th.

Unfortunately, Bandai-Namco doesn’t give any clue for this new Battle Pokémon, but it’s not like we have too long to wait before finding out which one it is! This new playable character will most definitely be part of a major update, that will add other elements to the game (including Assist Pokémon), but we will not get a confirmation until next week.

Pokémon Shuffle

Today, some new content for Pokémon Shuffle went live:

  • a special stage featuring Winking Togekiss is now available, until October 18th;
  • a special stage featuring Feraligatr is now available, also until October 18th;
  • the special stage featuring Palkia is back until October 18th, and allows you to get Palkia Skill Boosters;
  • the special stage featuring Kabutops is also back until October 18th, and allows you to get Kabutops Skill Boosters;
  • the special stage featuring Bellossom is also back until October 18th, and allows you to get Bellossom Skill Boosters;
  • the special stage featuring Thundurus Incarnate Forme is also back, but only until October 11th. It can only be played once a day, and allows you to get either Thundurus Skill Boosters or Mega Speedups.

Also, rewards are being sent out for players who participated in the Mega Beedrill challenge. As usual, the reward you get depends on your overall rank:

  • Top 200 players in Europe, Top 300 players in North America, Top 1 000 players in Japan = Beedrillite + 3 Mega Speedups + 3 Raise Max Level;
  • Top 1 000 players in Europe, Top 1 600 players in North America, Top 5 000 players in Japan = Beedrillite + 2 Mega Speedups + 2 Raise Max Level;
  • Top 5 000 players in Europe, Top 8 000 players in North America, Top 25 000 players in Japan = Beedrillite + Mega Speedup + Raise Max Level;
  • Top 13 000 players in Europe, Top 20 000 players in North America, Top 60 000 players in Japan = Beedrillite + Disruption Delay;
  • Top 18 000 players in Europe, Top 26 000 players in North America, Top 80 000 players in Japan = Attack Power + Disruption Delay;
  • Not Ranked: Attack Power.
