Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon – Zeraora distribution (Japan)

Yesterday, the latest issue of CoroCoro magazine revealed that Zeraora will be distributed to fans who go watch the latest Pokémon movie (Everyone’s Story) in theatres, in Japan. The distribution is for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, and runs from July 13th to September 30th.

Here’s details about Zeraora:

  • Level: 50
  • Moves: Plasma Fists, Thunder Punch, Close Combat, Thunder
  • Hold Item: Air Balloon

Also, players will also be able to get a Pokémon Ga-Olé disc (for Arcades). Here’s a promo video for it:

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon – Global Mission

Today, the latest and last Global Mission for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon ended, and it was a success with over 47 000 000 FC spent. Here’s all you need to know:

Global Mission #8 – Play in Festival Plaza

  • Goal: Spend 5,000,000 Festival Coins (FC)
  • Result: 47 661 005 FC spent
  • Takes place from June 5th to June 19th
  • Rewards: 2 000 Festival Coins (success) / 1 000 Festival Coins (failure)
  • Pokémon Global Link bonus: rewards x2

Pokémon GO

Yesterday, Niantic announced the addition of various Friend Features in Pokémon GO (check out this post for more details). The update has already gone live in some countries, allowing us to get additional details about the update. Alongside the features mentioned yesterday, the following changes were also made to the game:

  • adds a new badges related to the Friend Features (including Pokémon Trades)
  • adds a tab for Gym-related notifications
  • UI fixes (EXP bar, location of Pokémon met)
  • various bug fixes

Pokémon: Everyone’s Story

Last week, it was announced that Koichi Yamadera would voice not one, but two characters in Pokémon: Everyone’s Story, the latest Pokémon movie. The two characters are: Mayor Oliver, and Zeraora. He’s appeared in all Pokémon movies so far.

Last week, a brand new Software update for Pokémon Duel went live: Ver. 6.0.9. It requires 247MB of free space on iOS devices, and provides the following:

  • bug fix for the Serene Light ability
  • adds the Shiny Tapu Koko and Shiny Genesect figures

Pokémon Sun and Moon – Anime

Pokémon TCG

Today, The Pokémon Company announced that the next expansion for the Pokémon TCG, Sun and Moon: Celestial Storm, will be released on August 3rd in the United Kingdom (and most likely North America). This one features the following:

  • Over 160 cards, including:3 new Prism Star cards (Latios, Latias, and Jirachi)
  • 11 Pokémon-GX (including Articuno-GX, Blaziken-GX, Scizor-GX, Stakataka-GX, and Rayquaza-GX)
  • 27 Trainer cards

Each booster pack includes the following:

  • 10 cards from the expansion
  • at least 1 rare card
  • 1 basic Energy card
