• [After Chapter 3] Fixed an issue where Dave could not move under certain situations in the Sea People Village.

• [After Chapter 3] Fixed an issue where certain missions could no longer be progressed if they overlapped with the VIP Cooking Battle.

3) Underwater Exploration 

• Fixed an issue where the laser pointer was not visible in the ‘Cut the Net’ Dolphin rescue mission.

• Fixed an issue where currents would remain after defeating the Wolf Eel in certain situations.

• Fixed incorrect translations and incorrectly displayed texts in certain languages.

• Reduced the difficulty of actions that require quick left and right movements of the Left stick on the Joy-Con.

• Improved the menu window so that divers can navigate to the bottom of an item list directly from the top using directional keys.

• Fixed an issue where certain mission items would sometimes disappear during missions in Sea People Village. 
• [After Chapter 6] Fixed an issue where the Antarctic Octopus would not be displayed in ‘The Missing Beluga’ mission. 

3) Underwater Exploration 

• Fixed an issue where some sharks could not be salvaged under certain conditions. 
• Fixed an issue where recovered crab traps would reactivate under certain conditions. 
• Fixed an issue where certain species inconsistent with the mission progress would spawn. 
• Fixed an issue where certain species would get stuck in the terrain. 
• Fixed an issue where certain sniper trajectories would not be displayed in certain regions of the Glacial Area. 

4) Sea People Village 

• [After Chapter 3] Fixed an issue where Dave would not be equipped with his current diving suit when riding the Beluga Taxi. 
• Fixed an issue where certain button UI would be displayed differently than intended.

How to download updates for DAVE THE DIVER for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for DAVE THE DIVER, you have three options:

• let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

• try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

• select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
