Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon – Global Missions: all you need to know, list of missions

On this page, you will find all there is to know about Global Missions in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon: what they’re all about, how they work, when they take place, what kind of rewards you can get, and more.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon – Global Missions… what are they?

Global Missions are basically special missions all players tackle together. It’s not a competitive challenge: everyone work together to reach the goal within the time limit, and everyone taking part earn some rewards. The missions are always tied to key mechanics of the game: catching Pokémon, hatching eggs, trading with other players, etc.

To participate, you need to register at the Festival Plaza (and more precisely the counter inside the Castle). If you do not register, you will not be able to participate, and of course, you will not get any reward at all. You do not need a Pokémon Global Link account to register and participate, but linking your copy of Pokémon Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon to the PGL allows you to earn some bonus rewards.

Besides the “general” reward, there’s also personal rewards, that you can claim by reaching the personal goal (like catching a total of 10 Pokémon during Global Mission 1). Those are not mandatory (you can get the general rewards even if you do not do anything, as long as you register), but they allow you to get some bonus rewards, so they’re definitely worth it.
