Pokémon Sun and Moon – Global Mission

Today, the fourth Global Mission for Pokémon Sun and Moon went live. Called “Get BP at the Battle Tree”, it tasks players with getting as many Battle Points as possible before March 13th. To earn those Battle Points, you need to win matches at the Battle Tree, and those obtained via the Pokémon Bank do not count toward the goal of this Global Mission: you will have to earn them the hard way!

Here’s how you can participate:

  • enter Festival Plaza in your Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon game
  • head into the castle and speak to the receptionist on the right
  • enter the Global Mission
  • head to the Battle Tree at the north end of Poni island
  • choose the battle format of your choice
  • win some battles, and therefore some BP
  • use GameSync to add your Battle Point tally to the grand total

Here’s the rewards you can get with this 4th Global Mission:

Goal Not Reached (<250,000 BP)

  • PGL members earn 400 FC
  • Non-PGL members earn 200 FC

Goal Reached (250,000+ BP)

  • PGL members earn 4,000 FC
  • Non-PGL members earn 2,000 FC

Bonus Goal Reached (500,000+ BP)

  • PGL members earn Heavy Ball

Individual Contributor (3 BP, goal does not have to be met)

  • PGL members earn 5 Rare Candies

If you want, you can use QR Code Rental Teams posted by other players on the Pokémon Global Link in the Battle Tree. You can even use special team created by The Pokémon Company:

  • Single Battle format: Salamence, Aegislash, and Tapu Lele (offers “incredible offense”);
