Fixed crashes that could occur in various situations and improved overall game stability.
(Nintendo Switch 2) A third graphics option has been added for Handheld Mode in [Settings → Graphics].
- The previous “Performance-centered” option has been renamed to “Balanced”.
- Added a new “Performance-centered” option that supports up to 60fps.
(Nintendo Switch 2) Fixed an issue affecting the “Quality-centered” graphics option in Handheld Mode.
- Fixed an issue in Version 1.13.2 where selecting the “Quality-centered” option caused the internal graphics resolution to be lower than intended.
(Nintendo Switch 2) “Motion Blur” can now be enabled/disabled in [Settings → Gameplay].
- This setting is only available in TV Mode.

How to download updates for The Fox’s Way Home on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2?

To download the updates for The Fox’s Way Home, you have three options:

let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
