Pokémon Sun and Moon

Today, The Pokémon Company detailed the next Global Mission for Pokémon Sun and Moon, which will go live tomorrow. It will be based on the Island Scan feature, and will require players to catch or defeat 1 000 000 Pokémon using that feature.

The event will be live from:

  • Europe: December 27th (5AM) to January 10th (12.59AM)
  • UK: December 27th (4AM) to January 9th (11.59PM)
  • North America (ET): December 26th (11PM) to January 9th (6.59PM)
  • North America (PT): December 26th (8PM) to January 9th (3.59PM)
  • Japan: December 27th (1PM) to January 10th (8.59AM)

The rewards are as follows:

  • if mission is successful: 2 017 FC (x2 if the game is tied to the Pokémon Global Link)
  • if mission is not successful: 217FC (x2 if the game is tied to the Pokémon Global Link)

Here’s how to use Island Scan:

  • first, you need to get 100 Points from scanning QR codes. You get 10 Points for every QR Code you scan (click here to find the complete list of QR Codes for Pokémon Sun and Moon);
  • once you have 100 Points, use the Island Scan feature
  • find and battle the Pokémon.

Pokémon Shuffle

Today, some new content for Pokémon Shuffle went live:

  • a special Escalation Battle featuring Mew is now available until January 10th. It gives you special rewars such as Mega Speedups, Raise Max Levels, and Skill swappers;
  • the special stage featuring Mewtwo is back until January 3rd.

Pokémon GO

Since yesterday and until January 3rd, special Holidays Packs are available for purchase in Pokémon GO. They include a variety of items, available at a discount price.

Here’s the Holidays Packs and their contents:

Until December 30th

  • Special Box (250 Coins): 10 Great Balls, and 2 Incubators
  • Great Box (550 Coins): 20 Great Balls, 2 Incense, and 4 Egg Incubators
  • Ultra Box (1500 Coins): 25 Incense, 6 Egg Incubators, and 20 Ultra Balls

From January 1st

  • Bronze Box
  • Silver Box
  • Gold Box

The contents of those is not known at the moment, but it’s already been confirmed they would include Incense, Lure Modules, Lucky Eggs, and Poké Balls.
