Pokkén Tournament (Wii U) comes out on March 18th, worldwide.

Celebi distribution

As part of the 20th Anniversary of the Pokémon series, there will be Mythical Pokémon distributions throughout the year. Last month Mew was available, and it could be obtained via a serial code given out at participating retailers (it’s still available in some countries like France, where the distribution started later). And this month, the Mythical Pokémon distributed is none other than Celebi, now available in Europe and North America.

But unlike Mew, you won’t have to go anywhere to get Celebi: all you need is an internet connection, since this distribution is done via the Nintendo Network. To get it, you need to follow the steps below:

  • Launch the game
  • Select Mystery Gift
  • Select Receive Gift
  • Select Get Via Internet
  • Select your save data
  • Talk to the delivery girl to get your Pokémon
  • Save your game

Celebi will be available until Marh 24th.

Battle competition

Today, a new battle competition for Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire was announced: the 2016 International Challenge March. Here’s the rules:

  • Battles: Double Battle
  • Rules: VGC rules
  • Legendary Pokémon allowed (only two from that list): Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde.
  • Registration: from March 17th to March 24th
  • Battles: from March 25th to March 27th.
  • Reward: 2000 PokéMiles (all entrants).
