Yesterday, Nicalis shared some pictures of the physical release of Cave Story+ on Nintendo Switch, which comes with quite a few goodies (especially if you get your copy at GameStop):

Cave Story+ (Switch) comes out on June 20th in North America, and later this year in Europe and Japan.

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero

Earlier this week, we learned that Shantae: Half-Genie Hero would be released on June 8th in Europe (thanks to a listing on the Nintendo eShop). Yesterday, WayForward not only confirmed the date, but also announced that North America would also get the game on the same day!

Phantom Trigger

A few days ago, tinyBuild announced that Phantom Trigger was headed to the Nintendo Switch, this Summer. For those who never heard of the game before, it’s a “Hardcore Neon Slasher”, with RPG and Roguelike elements. You get to play as Stan, on a journey through surreal and twisted worlds.

Here’s the main features:

• A deep combat system focused on unlocking combos and upgrading weapons
• Handcrafted story driven levels mixed with roguelike-style dungeons
• A branching story with multiple endings

League of Evil

A quick update regarding League of Evil for the Nintendo Switch: development is almost over, and the game should be sent to QA in about 1-2 weeks. The Nintendo 3DS version will follow “a bit later”.
