Shantae: Half-Genie Hero

A few weeks ago, WayForward announced that they were bringing Shantae: Half-Genie Hero to the Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, they didn’t say when, they just said that this version would make heavy use of HD Rumble.

If you’re really looking forward to Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, here’s some good news for you… it’s releasing much sooner than you were expecting (probably!). According to the European Nintendo eShop, it will be released… next week, on June 8th (at least in Europe, though a simultaneous release is more than guaranteed). It will cost 16.99€, and will be playable in the following languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian.

The product page mentions that the game will be playable using the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, but also the touchscreen (in Handheld Mode, obviously).

Here’s some screenshots:

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (Switch – eShop) will be released on June 8th in Europe, and later this year in North America. The Upcoming Releases page has been updated!

ACA NeoGeo Last Resort

According to the Nintendo of Europe website, ACA NeoGeo Last Resort is this week’s ACA NeoGeo Last Resort title. It will be available on June 1st.

As usual, it will most definitely be released on the same day in North America and Japan, but no formal announcement has been made yet. However, we’ve already updated the Upcoming Releases page, the Nintendo eShop line-up for Europe and North America, and the list of Nintendo Switch games with language options in Japan.
