Etrian Mystery Dungeon: full trailer, more system videos

Yesterday evening, Atlus USA uploaded the full trailer for Etrian Mystery Dungeon, which comes out next week in North America. It shows how you can build your own guild of adventurers (with 10 classes to chose from), and then go explore dungeons. Those are randomised, which means you get a different experience every time you enter them.

Dungeons are also filled with monsters and traps: you’ll have to be careful when exploring, as you can get ambushed when you least expect it. If you’re looking for a challenge, you can tackle some quests in order to get some rewards. Finally, there’s the D.O.E.: some really strong monsters who will try to escape from the labyrinths. If they manage to do so, they’ll attack the town and damage the various buildings.

But that’s not all: the official website was also updated, with some new system videos. They are about:

– Amber Restaurant: it serves as a hub for side-quests. There, Nirala can cook some special dishes that will grant buffs to your team before you head into dungeons. The free DLC (available until May 5th) will even allow you to use some special recipes!

– Explorers Guild: you go there to create new party members, but also to staff the various forts around the labyrinths (which are needed to stop the D.O.E. before they escape).
