The Last Campfire
Out of the blue, The Last Campfire was released today in Japan, with the Europe and North America most likely getting it later today. The Japanese version of the game costs 1 480 Yen, requires 2.6GB of free space, and does offer an English language option.

The Last Campfire (Switch – eShop) does not have a release date in Europe and North America yet.

Bubble Bobble 4 Friends
Taito have announced that the major update for Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will be released on November 19th in Japan. It will add no less than 100 stages, but also Online Leaderboards, and more.

September Research Breakthrough encounter
In September, you will be able to encouter Alolan Raichu via Research Breakthrough (including the Shinya variant).
A month of different Legendary Raid Bosses!
Some Legendary Raid Bosses are coming (almost) every week in September:
- From Friday, August 21, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Thursday, September 10, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), Heatran will be available to challenge in five-star raids.
- From Thursday, September 10, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Friday, September 18, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), Cresselia will be available to challenge in five-star raids.
- From Friday, September 18, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Friday, September 25, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), Articuno will be available to challenge in five-star raids.
- From Friday, September 25, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Friday, October 2, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), Zapdos will be available to challenge in five-star raids.
Also, there will be a Raid Hour every Wednesday at 6PM featuring that week’s Legendary Raid Boss in 5 Star Raids.
Pokémon Spotlight Hours
Here’s the Spotlight Hours for September (every Tuesday at 6PM local time):
- Tuesday, September 1, 2020: Eevee will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the XP for catching Pokémon.
- Tuesday, September 8, 2020: Houndour will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the Candy for catching Pokémon.
- Tuesday, September 15, 2020: Tentacool will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the Candy for transferring Pokémon.
- Tuesday, September 22, 2020: Spearow will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the XP for evolving Pokémon.
- Tuesday, September 29, 2020: Skitty will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the Stardust for catching Pokémon.
GO Battle Night
On September 24th (6PM to 11.59PM local time), you will get twice the regular amount of Stardust for winning battles, completing sets of battles, and ranking up in the Go Battle League. You will also be able to complete 20 sets of GO Battle League battles (instead of 5 usually).

Victini Special Research: Investigate a Mysterious Energy
At the end of September, there will be a new Special Research story featuring Victini. If you already accessed the exclusive Pokémon GO Fest 2020: Rocket Straight to Victory Special Research, then completing this Special Research will earn you Victini Candy.
