Monstrum

Soedesco have confirmed that Monstrum will be released on May 22nd in Europe and North America, via the Nintendo eShop (with retail release following at a later date).

Here’s the latest trailer and set of details for the game:

In Monstrum, players awaken trapped on a massive, derelict cargo ship with no knowledge of how they got there. Hunted by a horrific predator, they must scavenge the ship for clues and tools to find a means of escape. Left completely defenseless against a prowling beast; the only way to survive is to distract, hide, or slow the creature down before running for your life. Players only have one chance; permadeath and no save points means that once killed, they’ll have to start from scratch – so try not to get caught! The procedurally generated ship not only ensures you stay lost in the labyrinth of rooms, pathways, and items that change with each new game, but also randomizes the monster hunting you too… so brace for the unexpected.

Code: Realize ~Future Blessings~

Here’s a teaser trailer for Code: Realize ~Future Blessings~, now available in Europe and North America:

Monochrome World

CFK have shared some more details about Monochrome World:

Monochrome World is CFK’s new 3D puzzle action game where a raindrop embarks on a journey to bring back colors to the once-colorful world of gray. As a raindrop, the player has to find lost colors hidden in various places.

In Monochrome World, the raindrop moves and jumps to get to the destination. Being the only one with color, the raindrop paints any square it passes, one by one. To clear a stage, the player has to color most of the road before reaching the destination. Use your head to draw your own Eulerian trail. Many traps and tricks hinder the raindrop, and enemies will try to pop it. But don’t be afraid; the player can try as many times as they want until the stage is cleared.

The raindrop starts its journey as a normal, generic drop of water. However, it will find many and diverse skins and accessories as the adventure goes on. Customize the raindrop using colors, accessories, and skins that resemble chicks, kittens, puppies, etc. In addition, the gameplay becomes more immersive with EDM-style music and 3D graphics made with Unreal Engine.

Monochrome World (Switch – eShop) comes out on May 7th worldwide.

PsyHotel Simulator

Ultimate Games have announced their latest game for the Nintendo Switch: PsyHotel Simulator, developed by RG Crew.

No release date yet, but here’s a trailer, some details, the list of key features, and plenty of screenshots:

The release will combine, among others, tactical and stealth elements, hotel management and black comedy. The player’s goal will be to eliminate psychopathic criminals hosted at his establishment. As the developers explain, PsyHotel Simulator is an unusual project – a mix of many different genres and a reversal of various mechanics known from other games. The player will step into the shoes of The Boss, a contract assassin who also runs a hotel. It just so happens that the usual clients of this centre are various shady characters. However, the goal of the game will not be to properly see to the needs of the clients – like in typical tycoon games – but rather to eliminate them.

In PsyHotel Simulator, the player will be managing the hotel and carrying out orders involving the liquidation of specific guests. The developers indicate that it is best to get to know the background and the habits of the target, before carefully planning out their termination. In addition to the main career mode, the developers will also offer the possibility to play single missions (without the hotel expansion elements).

  • a hotel full of psychopathic criminals;
  • a crazy mix of genres;
  • diverse gameplay;
  • clever traps and fake accidents;
  • black comedy;
  • crafting and hotel management;
  • career and casual modes.

PsyHotel Simulator (Switch – eShop) does not have a release date yet. The Upcoming Games page has been updated!
