Australian game ratings: BoxBoy!, SEGA 3D Classics

BoxBoy!

BoxBoy! (known as Hako Boy in Japan) is a rather cute and addictive puzzle game made by HAL Laboratory. Earlier this month, Nintendo of America announced that it would come out in Spring in North America. Nintendo of Europe still hasn’t made any announcement, but there’s a very little doubt the game is also coming to Europe at some point.

In fact, the game was recently rated by the Australia Classification Board, which means that we should be getting an announcement soon… probably during the next Nintendo Direct!

SEGA 3D Classics

Earlier this month, SEGA announced that the rest of the SEGA 3D Classics would be delayed in Australia. No official explanation was given for this delay, but it’s quite likely those were caused by the Australian Classification Board. After all, none of the remaining games were rated yet, and such a rating is mandatory.

The good news is: the remaining SEGA 3D Classics have finally been rated. That means a release date should be announced soon for the games which already came out in Europe and North America. What’s more, those which haven’t been released yet shouldn’t be delayed… hopefully!

The SEGA 3D Classics recently rated by the ACB are:

– 3D Fantasy Zone II
– 3D Thunderblade
– 3D Fantasy Zone
– 3D Out Run

Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies

The last rating is for Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies, a Wii game coming soon as a download version on the Wii U eShop. It was actually one of the games announced during the January Nintendo Direct, though we still don’t have any date yet!
