Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp – All the Events and Content updates (March 2018)

Since Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is a smartphone game, with micro-transactions as business model, it’s going to get various events and content updates on a regular basis. Just like Fire Emblem Heroes (and to a lesser extent, Miitomo), the goal is to make sure players keep playing… and spending, obviously.

On this page, we have listed all the events and content updates for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp in March 2018. For the most recent updates, make sure to check out this post instead!

March 1st

  • [Animals] Today, Nintendo teased the arrival of Gulliver in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. We don’t know what’s happened to him, or when he arrives, though…

March 2nd

  • [Crafting] New clothes can now be crafted: silver frames, sailor’s shirt, sailor skirt, sporty shades, blue cap, fishing vest, with more coming soon. New clothes to craft will be added on a regular basis. You need to reach a certain level to craft some pieces of clothing (no end date)
  • [Log-in Bonus] A new set of Daily Log-in Bonuses is now live, allowing players to get the following: Leaf Ticket x1, paper x3, sea throw x3, 1 000 Bells, ??? essence x1, Calling Card x1, preserves x3, honey x3, river throw net x3, and ??? essence x1 (available until March 12th)

March 4th

  • [Event] The second half of the latest event, Leif’s Spring Flowers, is now live. Check out this post for more details! (available until March 9th)
  • [Log-in Bonus] To celebate the start of the second half of the Leif’s Spring Flowers event, all players can get p. sleeping beauty flowers x20 as special Log-in Bonus (available until March 9th)

March 5th

  • [Event] Today, Nintendo teased yet another event. This one is really special, as it will feature various items from the Super Mario series!

March 6th

  • [Animals] Today, Nintendo began teasing the arrival of 5 new Animals… can you guess which ones? Unfortunately, we don’t know when they will arrive just yet!

March 7th

  • [Animals] Some new Animals have arrived: Margie (title screen), Bill (lotus pond), Curt (samurai suit), Gladys (loom), Drago (lazy-Susan table). Animals page updated! (no end date)
  • [Shovelstrike Quarry] For a limited time, you can get harmonious essence from the Shovelstrike Quarry, but only when the icon appears above the quarry on the map. harmonious essence allows you to craft new types of furniture, and can also be obtained by completing animal requests (available until March 13th)
  • [Goals] A new set of Timed Goals is now available “Host the Most”. Clear those to get some extra harmonious essence! (available until March 13th)

March 10th

  • [Event] As teased a few days ago, the next event for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is Super Mario-themed. You can find all there is to know about it in this post! (available until April 10th)
  • [Event] Round 1 of the Super Mario Crossover event is now live. You can find all there is to know about it in this post! (available until April 10th)
  • [Goals] A new set of Timed Goals is now available: “Event Challenge”. Clearing those allows you to get some Leaf Tickets and Super Mushrooms (available until March 21st)
  • [Store] During the Super Mario Crossover event, you can purchase two special packs from the in-game Store (until April 10th, can only be purchased once):
    • Super Mario Pack – Red (S): Leaf Ticket x45 (40 +5 bonus), Super Mushroom x20
    • Super Mario Pack – Red (L): Leaf Ticket x260 (200 + 60 bonus), Super Mushroom x30
  • [Shovelstrike] During the Super Mario Crossover event, you can get Super Mushrooms from the Shovelstrike Quarry (only when the mushroom icon is displayed) (available until April 10th)
  • [Crafting] During the Super Mario Crossover event, you can craft special furniture. Check out all the details in this post! (available until April 10th)

March 12th

  • [Log-in Bonus] A new set of Daily Log-in Bonuses is now live, allowing players to get the following: Leaf Ticket x1, paper x3, sea throw net x3, 1 000 Bells, sporty essence x1, Request Card x2, steel x3, river throw net x3, 1 000 Bells, and cute essence x1 (available until March 22nd)

March 14th

  • [Update] The latest Software update is now available: “Ver. 1.3.0”. Check out this post for more details.
  • [Log-in Bonus] To celebrate the launch of the new Software update, all players can get Leaf Ticket x20 as Log-in Bonus (available until April 14th)

March 15th

  • [Event] The first Fishing Tourney is now live! Check out this post for all you need to know about it! (available until March 20th. Trophy pick-up from March 20th to March 23rd)
  • [Goals] During the first Fishing Tourney, there’s several Chip Challenges to tackle (available until March 20th. Rewards can be picked up until March 23rd)

March 16th

  • [Log-in Bonus] Due to the latest Shovelstrike Quarry event (the one with the increased chance of getting harmonious essence) ending prematurely (3 days earlier than initially scheduled), all players can get harmonious essence x10 as Special Log-in Bonus (available until April 16th)

March 17th

  • [Log-in Bonus] To celebrate Shamrock Day / Saint Patrick’s Day, all players can get a shamrock hat as Special Log-in Bonus (available until April 17th)

March 19th

  • [Crafting] Some new clothes are now available for crafting (you need to reach a certain level to be able to craft them): halo, sky dress, blue frames, beige emblem blazer, grey formal pants (no end date)

March 21st

  • [Event] Round 2 of the Super Mario Crossover event is now live. It features a new type of mushroom (1-Up Mushroom), that allows you to craft different types of time-limited furniture. Of course, the mushrooms from Round 1 are not going anywhere, and you will still be able to craft furniture using them until the end of the event. Check out this post for all you need to know! (available until April 10th)
  • [Shovelstrike] During the Super Mario Crossover event, you can get Super Mushrooms from the Shovelstrike Quarry (only when the mushroom icon is displayed). During Round 2, it’s 1-Up Mushrooms that you can get from there (available until March 31st)
  • [Store] Two new Special Packs are now available until April 10th:
    • Super Mario Pack – Green (S)
      • Leaf Ticket x45 (40 +5 bonus)
      • 1-Up Mushroom x20
    • Super Mario Pack – Green (L)
      • Leaf Ticket x260 (200 + 60 bonus)

March 24th

  • [Animals] 4 new Animals are now available: Bam (exercise ball), Broccolo (tricycle), Snake (sword), Merry (washing machine). Animals page updated! (no end date)
  • [Goals] A new set of Timed Goals is now live: “Host the Most”. Clearing those allow you to get Leaf Tickets and Calling Cards! (available until March 30th)

March 25th

  • [Event] Today, Nintendo began teasing another event for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. As always, we don’t know when it will go live, but it should be sometime next week!

March 29th

  • [Log-in Bonus] During the first Fishing Tourney (held earlier this month), there was an issue: tourney fish did not appear for the remainder of the 3-hour tourney if the player caught a fish while the fish were being updated (since it takes about 10 minutes for the fish to update). As an apology, Nintendo is sending Leaf Ticket x20 to all players, as Special Log-in Bonus! (available until April 29th)

March 30th

  • [Event] The latest event, Zipper’s Wonderland, is now live! Check out this post for all you need to know! (available until April 9th)
  • [Event] The first Round of the Zipper’s Wonderland event is now live. Check out this post for all you need to know! (available until April 9th)
  • [Store] During the Zipper’s Wonderland event, you can purchase two special packs from the in-game Store (can only be purchased once, available until April 9th):
    • Zipper’s Wonderland Pack S: Leaf Ticket x100 (80 + 20 bonus), flower food x60
    • Zipper’s Wonderland Pack L: Leaf Ticket x600 (417 + 183 bonus), flower food x160
  • [Goals] A new set of Timed Goals is now live: “Event Challenge”, related to the Zipper’s Wonderland event. Clearing those allow you to get various rewards (available until April 9th)
  • [Notice] Players on iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad mini 4, iPad Air 2, iPod Touch (6th Generation) have reported issues with the game. Check out Issue #23 on this page for more details!

March 31st

  • [Event] Round 3 of the Super Mario Crossover event is now live. It features a new type of mushroom (Mega Mushroom), that allows you to craft different types of time-limited furniture. Of course, the Mushrooms from Round 1 and the 1-Up Mushrooms from Round 2 are not going anywhere, and you will still be able to craft furniture using them until the end of the event.   • [Store] Two new Special Packs are now available until April 10th (can only be purchased once):
