Xenoblade Chronicles X: official tweets of the day (February 26)

Today, Koh Kojima (Director) posted two messages on the official Xenoblade Chronicles X twitter account, in order to talk about the enemy placement in the game and the various weather effects.

In Xenoblade Chronicles, enemies and monsters were not always at the same place depending on the time of the day or the weather, which is a feature that will also be in Xenoblade Chronicles X. But in this game, weather will also have an impact on battles, and all those weather effects (rain, waveheats, aurora and many more) won’t simply be pretty things for players to look at while exploring Mira (the planet where the game takes place).

Developers worked hard in order to make sure that, besides visual changes, the weather effects also added strategy to the gameplay. He also explains that it was really hard fo them to find the right balance for the frequency in weather changes.

Xenoblade Chronicles X (Wii U) comes out on April 29 in Japan, and later this year in Europe and North America.
