Super Smash Bros. for Wii U / 3DS: Japanese TV commercial for the DLC

Smash Bros E3 2015

Last week, Nintendo released a substantial content update for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, with:

– new characters
– new stages
– new costumes
– and more…

In order to promote all this new content (most of which is paid DLC), Nintendo has started airing a special commercial for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. This ad highlights all the new downloadable content available for the game, starting with Mewtwo (which was released back in April).

Here it is:

This isn’t the first time Nintendo has aired special commercials just for downloadable content: they did when the two DLC packs for Mario Kart 8 were released, back in November and May. As Nintendo has been embracing downloadable content for its major games in the past few years, it’s quite likely we’re going to see even more of theses ads in the future (mostly for major titles, though).
