Mario Kart 8: Japanese TV commercial for the second DLC Pack

Earlier this morning, Nintendo released a brand new Software update for Mario Kart 8 (Ver. 4.0), which comes with the second DLC Pack for the game. The DLC pack requires 972MB of free space on your Wii U or external HDD. As for the update itself, it requires 247MB of free space. You can find the changelog there!

This new DLC Pack for Mario Kart 8 is quite the important event for both players and Nintendo. In Japan, the company has even made a special commercial for the game, that you can find below. Obviously, this commercial is there to spread the word about the release of the DLC, but also to attract new players.

The commercial mainly showcases the Animal Crossing content (the Animal Crossing circuit, and the characters). This isn’t all that surprising since the series is quite popular in Japan, especially Shizue (known as Isabelle in the English version of Animal Crossing: New Leaf).
