Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD releasing on October 29th in the west
Yesterday, Famitsu revealed that Tabegoro! Super Monkey Ball will be released on October 31st in Japan. A few hours later, SEGA announced that Europe and North America will get it two days earlier, on October 29th (for $39.99, with retail release confirmed). Since this is a remake of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz (originally released on Wii back in 2006), it’s no surprise SEGA went with Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD for the English title!
This remake will feature updated graphics, but also optimise control schemes, online leaderboards, and even a brand new mini-game mode called Decathlon. As tha name implies, it features a series of 10 mini-games that you have to play in a row.
