Super Mario Run: “The feeling never changes” video, Shigeru Miyamoto drawing

Earlier today, Super Mario Run was finally released on iOS (with the Android version to follow next year): make sure to check out this post to find (almost) everything you need to know, or this one if you have any issues with the game.

To celebrate this launch, Nintendo uploaded a special video, called “The feeling never changes”. As the titles implies, it’s a video retrospective of the Super Mario Bros. series, and more precisely the 2D platformer titles. Unfortunately, it omits quite a few games, for some unknown reason (other than making sure the video itself isn’t too long!).

Here’s the list of games featured in this video:

  • Super Mario Bros. (Nintendo Entertainment System)
  • Super Mario Bros. (Nintendo Entertainment System)
  • Super Mario Land (GameBoy)
  • Super Mario World (SNES)
  • New Super Mario Bros. (Nintendo DS)
  • New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii)
  • New Super Mario Bros. U (Wii U)
  • Super Mario Run (iOS : Android).

Here’s the video:

The second video shows Shigeru Miyamoto drawing a special illustration for Super Mario Run, on an iPad Pro:

Super Mario Run is now available on iOS, and in over 150 countries. The Android version will follow next year, though Nintendo hasn’t given any details at all regarding this version…
