PokéNews (Nov. 19) – Nintendo Minute / Pokémon GO update

Today’s Pokémon news: latest episode of Nintendo Minute, but also…

  • Pokémon GO

Nintendo Minute

Yesterday, Nintendo uploaded the latest episode of Nintendo Minute. This one is called “Our Adventure Begins in the Alola Region”, and it’s also part of the Pokémon Month (which will end with the next episode). In this one, Kit and Krysta begin their adventure in the Alola region.

Hi Trainers, welcome to week 3 of Pokémon Month. Today is a very special day because Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon have officially launched! We hope you’re playing and embarking on your own adventure in the Alola Region. Today, we look at the very beginning of the game and also check out one of the new features – the Island Trial. We hope you enjoy the video and as always thanks so much for watching. We’ll be back next week for our last Pokémon Month video. Have a great weekend!

Pokémon GO

Yesterday, Niantic released another update for Pokémon GO, brining the game to Ver. 0.47.1 on Android and 1.17.0 on iOS. What does this update do? Nothing much, unfortunately, as this is yet another stability update:

  • Fixed an issue where the Egg-hatching cutscene animation would sometimes be briefly visible from the map view.
  • Minor text fixes

As of writing, this update might not be available on your device yet, but it should be within the next couple of days.
