Miitomo: new update available (Ver. 2.0.2)

A few days ago, Nintendo released a major update for Miitomo. It added quite few features, but not just any old features… it was some of the most frequently requested ones, including the ability to send messages directly to friends, customise your own room, and more. Click here to find out what this update has to offer!

And yesterday, Nintendo released another update for Miitomo. It brings the game to Ver. 2.0.2, but unfortunately, no patchnotes are provided this time around. However, the version number makes it pretty clear it’s just the usual stability update that follows a few days after major ones. We don’t quite know what it fixes, but unlike Ver 2.0.1, this one isn’t mandatory.

To download this update, you simply need to tap on the notification that should appear on your device. Alternatively, you can simply go to the Play Store (Android), or the AppStore (iOS), and select the update from the list. You will need 12.69MB of free space on your Android device, and 79.6MB of free space on your iOS device.

To check that you have the latest version of Miitomo installed, simply launch the game: you should see Ver. 2.0.2 at the bottom right corner of the screen (alternatively, you can see that in the “Other” section of the Miitomo Menu):

Thanks Joe Merrick for iOS file size!
