Last week, The Pokémon Company shared a Serial Code that allows you to get two Mega Stones: the Mewtwonite X and the Mewtwonite Y. Unfortunately, it looks like there’s a minor issue with those: at the moment, you cannot use them on Battle Spot (Free Battle and Rating Battle). The good news is, this isn’t intentional, and it will in fact be rectified soon (most likely on Tuesday morning).

The Beedrillite and Mawilite will also be impacted by that issue, though they will be usable in Free Battle right away. The issue lies with Rating Battle: the new Mega Stones will not be useable there until March 21s (when Season 3 begins).
