Pokkén Tournament DX

Today, The Pokémon Company announced that Pokkén Tournament DX will get another Software update next week (on July 10th/11th). It will bring the game to Ver. 1.3.2, and will provide various balance fixes. The official patch notes will be added to this page as soon as they’re available.

Also, the latest Official Group Match went live today. Here’s all you need to know about it:

  • Name: Final Flicker
  • Type: Basic Battle, Fixed Battle Arena
  • Runs from July 6th to July 9th
  • Time: 3AM PT to 7PM PT / 6AM ET to 10PM ET / 5AM GMT to 9PM GMT / 6AM CET to 10AM CET / 6AM JST to 10PM JST
  • Participation prize: Final Flicker (title)
  • Ranking Prizes:
  1. Places 1 to 10 – Chrom League Master
  2. Places 11 to 30 – Red League Master
  3. Places 31 to 60 – Blue League Master
  4. Places 61 to 100 – Green League Master

But that’s not all: the next Official Group Match has already been announced:

  • Name: Gatling Flame Kicks
  • Type: Team Battle, Fixed Battle Arena
  • Runs from July 20th to July 22nd

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Let’s Go, Eevee!

In Japan, pre-orders for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Let’s Go, Eevee! will start on July 13th. Fans who pre-order the game will be able to get various bonuses at 7-Eleven stores:

  • stand-alone (6 135 Yen): acryllic key holder
  • Poké Ball Plus bundle (10 778 Yen): acryllic key holder + steelbook
  • Nintendo Switch + Poké Ball Plus (unofficial bundle, the “Christmas Set”) (43 156 Yen): various bonuses

Pokémon Duel

The latest Gym Cup event is the Steel Gym Cup, and it went live yesterday. Here’s all you need to know about it:

  • Runs from June 5th to June 9th
  • Dragon-type Movement 0, 1, and 2 figures = +1 Movement;
  • Ice-type figures = +20 Attack (for each attack);
  • Gym Boosters available, with the contents increasing with your winning streak.
  • Dragonair and Dragonite figure available as reward
  • Trophies will be distributed to qualifying players after the event.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon – Serial Code (Japan)

Today, a new event for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon was announced in Japan. Fans who purchase specific items at 7-Eleven stores across Japan will get the following:

  • a clearfile based on Pokémon: Everyone’s Story (the latest movie);
  • a Serial Code for 100 Poké Balls, to be used in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. However, some of the Serial Codes will give 99 Poké Balls and 1 Master Ball instead.
