Nintendo: list of million-sellers for Fiscal Year 2014-15

Every quarter, when Nintendo reveals its financials results, the company also updates its list of million-sellers for the fiscal year.

On Nintendo 3DS, a total of 9 games sold at least 1 million units between April 1st, 2014 and March 31st, 2015. Unsurprisingly, Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire was the best-seller, with almost 10 million units sold (9.94 millions), with the vast majority of sales being from Europe and North America.

As for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, it sold 6.75 million units worldwide. Once again, the majority of sales are from Europe and North America. Tomodachi Life is also in the list, but only thanks to the great sales in the West (which even surprised Nintendo): 2.21 million units were sold in Europe and North America.

Next: The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, which was a great success for Nintendo. After all, withing the first two months, it sold over 2 million units worldwide. Finally, ever-green titles just kept on selling too: Mario Kart 7, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Pokémon X / Y all sold over 1 million units, mainly thanks to the European and North American markets.

As for the Wii U, the list of million-sellers isn’t all that surprising: Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U were, after all, great success for Nintendo right from the start.

Here is the list of million-sellers on Wii U / Nintendo 3DS for the Fiscal Year 2014-15 (April 1st, 2014 / March 31st, 2015):
