Nintendo: Total Hardware and Top Selling Software (as of March 31, 2015)

Every year, when Nintendo reveals its financial results for the full financial year, the company always update its list of (first-party) best-sellers on its current consoles (Wii U and Nintendo 3DS). And today, along with the financial results for the Fiscal Year 2014-15, we finally have some updated data for Software and Hardware sales!

First, here’s the total of Hardware and Software sales for the Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, Wii and Nintendo DS:

Next is the list of best-sellers on Wii U. Unsurprisingly, Mario Kart 8 takes the top spot, and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U gets in the list without too much trouble. Unfortunately, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is nowhere to be seen, which means it hasn’t sold 1 million units worldwide since its launch…

And finally, here’s the list of top-sellers for the Nintendo 3DS. The Pokémon franchise is still going strong, as Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire has sold over 9.94 million units (it most likely has reached 10 million units already).

NB: the lists above only include games that have sold at least 1 million units since launch.
