Nintendo Direct: new presentation today (Wii U / 3DS)

Nintendo announced that there would also be a special episode of Nintendo Minute following the North American Nintendo Direct. Also, the Japanese Nintendo Direct will last 46mn; and the North American Nintendo Direct will last 45mn.

It’s been quite a while since the last Nintendo Direct: it was back in April for Europe and North America (with a Nintendo Direct Micro for North America in May), and May for Japan, in fact! Despite the lack of news, Nintendo had always planned to keep making them, and even had to confirm the presentations would continue in the near future (with at least one presentation coming before the end of the year, and new format next year) several times.

Good news: a new Nintendo Direct was announced a few minutes ago, and will take place this Thursday (November 12th). Unsurprisingly, Nintendo will focus on upcoming games for the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS, but the company didn’t give any release window (like they often do). Of course, you should not expect any news regarding the NX platform or mobile games during this presentation:

Please note that the presentation will not feature any updates on NX and mobile.

Yesterday morning, Nintendo announced that Japan would also get a Nintendo Direct presentation at the same time. It will be hosted by Morimoto (just like the Japan-only Nintendo Direct in May), and will focus on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games coming out by Spring 2016. We can assume this will also be the case of the European and North American presentations.

It will take place on Thursday (November 12th), at:

• Europe: 11PM
• UK: 10PM
• North America (ET): 5PM
• North America (PT): 2PM
• Japan: 7AM (November 13th)
• Australia (AEDT): 9AM (November 13th)
