[N-Direct] Arena of Valor (MOBA) headed to the Nintendo Switch

Are you a fan of MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena), like DOTA 2 or League of Legends? Do you believe that being able to play one on the go would be a total blast, especially if it was on the Nintendo Switch? Well, you’re in luck, because that’s exactly the kind of game Arena of Valor (developed by Tencent Games) is!

In this game, you get to command a roster of more than 36 fearless heroes, with the usual roles like Tanks, Assassins, Mages, and Warriors. Your goal is, like in most MOBA, to use those very warriors to go and crush your opponents, in real-time battles. If you’ve heard of the game before, it’s most likely because it’s already available on mobile platforms!

Arena of Valor is a free-to-start game, which means you will be able to play for free… though obviously, there will be micro-transactions (details about them are still TBC). If you’re curious about the game, Tencent will host a beta period this Winter (worldwide), though the exact date wasn’t announced during the Nintendo Direct presentation.

Arena of Valor (Switch – eShop) does not have a release date yet, but it’s already been added to the Upcoming Games page!
