Miitomo: New Year event now live
A few days ago, Nintendo held a Christmas event in Miitomo. Naturally, this meant there would also be a special event for New Year, and said event actually went live earlier today. This time around, there’s no Miifoto to take: the event is for Miitomo Drop and the Miitomo Shop.
Here’s the list of everything planned for this New Year event:
1. Sale on Coins
From December 29th to January 5th, there’s a special, one-time only offer on Coins: you can buy 6 500 of them for the price of 3 150. You need to update to Ver. 2.1 in order to be eligible.
2. Golden Suit
From January 1st to January 5th, all players will receive an in-app Golden Suit.
3. Miitomo Drop Stages
From December 29th to January 1st, 2016’s best-selling items can be found in three special stages for Miitomo Drop. Since there are no sweets in those, you’re guaranteed to get something every time you play. However, there’s a catch: you cannot use tickets to play, and you have to spend coins.
4. Miitomo Shop
From December 29th to January 1st, the following items can be found in the Shop:
- Golden Wing Headpiece
- Fancy Golden Toga
- Large Golden Wings
- Golden Cat Companion
- Back Calligraphy (New Year)
- Back Calligraphy (Spring)
- Back Calligraphy (Sunrise)
- Happy New Year Sweatshirt 1
- Happy New Year Sweatshirt 2
Also, during the whole duration of the New Year event, more than 100 items can be found in the Shop as Daily Items.
