Olija

Devolver Digital have announced that Olija will be released on January 28th worldwide.

Here’s the latest trailer and some more details:

Olija is a game about Faraday’s quest, a man shipwrecked and trapped in the mysterious country of Terraphage. Armed with a legendary harpoon, he and other castaways try to leave this hostile country to return to their homelands. 

Through adventurous exploration, narration and razor sharp combat, the player will discover a strange world and its inhabitants, including Olija, an enigmatic lady that Faraday finds himself bound to over time. Inspired by swashbuckling tales and cinematic adventure games, Olija is a story about facing the unknown in adversity.

Olija (Switch – eShop) comes out on January 28th worldwide.

Today’s gameplay video joins protagonist Crisbell as she discovers her incredible ability to observe and manipulate past and future visions of her surroundings at any time. With a little help from her dapper amphibian ally, Crisbell’s power can be used to shape a brighter future, changing both the lives of those around her and the wider world. The video closes with a first look at the game’s Synchro system in combat which allows team members to combine their skills for powerful results. Death end re;Quest

Compile Heart have announced their latest game for the Nintendo Switch: Death end re;Quest. It will be released on December 24th in Japan, and it’s now available for digital pre-purchase for 3 800 Yen (regular price from January 19th: 4 800 Yen). It requires 8GB of free space.

Contraptions

Cosen have announced that they will bring Contraptions to Japan on January 7th. It’s now available for digital pre-order for 1 100 Yen, and it requires only 155MB of free space. This version of the game does offer an English language option.
