Arc System Works – Daedalus: The Awakening of Golden Jazz / World End Syndrome

Daedalus: The Awakening of Golden Jazz

A few months ago, we reported that a western release for Daedalus: The Awakening of Golden Jazz was seemingly in the works due to credits in the Japanese version listing an “English localization” team. And it took a few months for Arc System Works to make an announcement, and confirm that yes, Daedalus: The Awakening of Golden Jazz is indeed releasing outside Japan in May.

To be more precise, Arc System Works announced that Daedalus: The Awakening of Golden Jazz will be released on May 16th in North America. This is seemingly a digital-only release, though there’s also an Asia release in the works (and with physical release, this time). Unfortunately, there’s no word on a European release yet, and PQube have confirmed they’re not involved with this particular release. Fortunately, it’s highly unlikely this game will not be released in Europe at all.

World End Syndrome

A few weeks ago, PQube announced that they will release World End Syndrome on June 14th in Europe, and at retail to boot. Meanwhile, it’s only yesterday that Arc System Works revealed the release date for North America, which has been set to May 2nd.

The game is releasing in North America more than a month before Europe, but there’s a catch: it will be a digital-only release in that region. Of course, import is still an option for those who really insist on getting a physical copy of the game.
