Dragon Quest VIII: poster, couple of screenshots

Square-Enix took everyone by surprise by announcing Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King for the Nintendo 3DS, on May 13th (via a teaser website). Since then, there has been a couple of scans from magazines, from which we were able to get the cast for the main characters and some details about the new scenario.

But Square-Enix still has to revealed some official media (screenshots, trailer, etc.) for the game, and it looks like we’re going to have to wait a little more for that. That being said, Square-Enix has already starting promoting the game, as shown by the poster below (which was sent to a retailer).

This poster shows the key artwork for the game, but also a couple of (more or less) blurry screenshots. One of them even shows the bottom screen, on which is displayed a rather handy overview map of the area (which is going to be very useful in order to find your way around).
