UK: video games sales for Week 21 (ending May 23rd)

The UK market generally isn’t too hot for Nintendo, and week 21 was no exception. Unfortunately, there isn’t a single Nintendo 3DS titles in the Top 40, as the best-seller (Pokémon Alpha Sapphire) didn’t sell enough for that. However, there is a rather amusing oddity: Pokémon White Version 2 is #24. No need to check out your calendar, you’re still in 2015 and didn’t go back in time: this is most likely due to a clearance sale at major retailers.

The best-selling Wii U game is Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush, which had a pretty brutal drop last week: it went straight from #16 to #40, and almost didn’t make it in the Top 40.
