UK: video games sales for Week 20 (ending May 16th)

Despite the various new releases, Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush managed to go from #18 to #16 during Week 20 in the UK. In fact, there’s two other Wii U game who got a bump in sales last week: Mario Party 10 (from #37 to #28) and Mario Kart 7 (back in the Top at #37).

Unfortunately, there isn’t a single Nintendo 3DS game in the Top 50, which means that Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. had a really poor week. In fact, it didn’t even manage to grab the first spot in the Nintendo 3DS Chart: it’s #4 behind Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D. While we don’t have any concrete numbers, it’s pretty clear that the game flopped and that Nintendo probably isn’t pretty happy about those sales.
