Type-Moon: new character for Melty Blood: Type Lumina, soundtrack preview video for Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon-

During the latest Type-Moon Times presentation, Type-Moon shared some more details for Melty Blood: Type Lumina (which comes out tomorrow worldwide!).

During the presentation, a new playable character for Melty Blood: Type Lumina was revealed: Saber from the Fate series (voiced by Ayako Kawasumi).

Here’s her character trailer, some details, and some screenshots:

Real name: Artoria Pendragon

A knight with braided blonde hair, shining blue and silver armor, and a somewhat cold attitude. She is well-known from the legends of King Arthur, wielder of the holy sword Excalibur who founded the Knights of the Round Table. Somehow, she has appeared in this world without the use of a summoning ritual, She now searches Souya for answers to this mystery.

A brand new mode was also announced: Boss Rush mode. It will feature a story written by Kinoko Nasu!

Defeat powerful enemies to find a story event that’s just a little different…? Play the game to find the main character and unlock conditions!

Also, Type-Moon announced the exact time the game will go live worldwide:

  • Asia: 12AM on launch day
  • America: 12AM PT / 3AM ET on launch day
  • Europe: 12AM on launch day

As for the opening theme (Stack Black by Hiyori Miyamoto), it will be released on several digital music platforms (iTunes Store, RecoChoku, mora, and more) on launch day!

Next: streaming restrictions. Type-Moon are asking players to please refrain from streaming the following parts of the game:

  • Single Player: Miyako Arima and Red Arceuid
  • Boss Rush mode

Melty Blood: Type Lumina (Switch) comes out on September 30th worldwide.
