Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore: overview trailers, footage, details, concert and music album, and more

Nintendo have fully launched the official website for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore in Japan (click here to check it out!), sharing several new videos for it. First, we have not one but two overview trailers for the game. The first one focuses on the world and the game setting, while the second one focuses on battles.

The official website features various videos showcasing the battle system, Mirage interactions, side quests, and more. We went and merged all videos into one for your viewing convenience:

We also have some more details about the new content added to this Nintendo Switch version of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. First: the EX Story, an additional scenario featuring a brand new dungeon to explore, new items to collect, and of course some brand new songs to enjoy.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore also features additional costumes not found in the Wii U version, such as one based on the student uniform from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. There’s also a Music Video for a new song called “She is…”, sung by Tsubasa Oribe and Kiria.

And of course, DLC from the Wii U version (Tokyo Millenium Collection and Atlus Collaboration Costume Set) will be included from the getgo, with more collaboration costumes to be revealed at a later date.

As announced previously, Tiki, Maiko, and Barry will get to participate in Sessions, flashy combos that occur when you take advantage of enemy weaknesses in battle (with follow-up attacks by allies). The game also introduces new Session Skills that allows you to launch attacks with many different attributes, making it easier to trigger Sessions. Of course, the trio also gets their own battle costumes.

But that’s not all: this version features new gameplay systems, such as Quick Session, which allows you to speed up Session attacks, allowing for faster battles. There’s also various improvements to playability, such as a mini map, and quicker transitions into battles.

Since this version includes all DLC quests (from the EXPeditious Hunter, Masterful Hunter, and Savage Hunter sets), there’s even more content to enjoy from the getgo. The DLC quests allow you to quickly increase the level of the characters and the skill level of their weapons, which is great for players who want to focus on the Story. Also, in New Game+, you can remove the main character from your party, allowing you to fully customise it with only your favourite characters.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore – Music album and concert

avex have announced the release of the Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore Best Sound Collection on January 17th in Japan. It costs 4 950 Yen, and includes a total of 82 tracks on 3 CDs:

  • 60 BGM tracks
