The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes gets some ice-cold screens, final NA boxart

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force HeroesLast week, we got a good look at a brand new area from The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, which was playable at PAX Prime 2015 this week-end. This area is called Snowball Ravine, and as the name implies, its theme is ice/snow. And today, Nintendo has shared some additional screenshots for the game, which showcase that very Snowball Ravine.

From the looks of it, the Snowball Ravine is divided into at least four areas, with the fourth one featuring a battle against a boss (a monster entirely made of ice… not really a surprise for a snow/ice area!). The screenshots below show the bottom screen, with details about all three players (including the equiped items), but also the list of “messages” that you can send.

Here’s the latest batch of screenshots for The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes on Nintendo 3DS (which uses the same visual revealed at Gamescom, last month):

Here’s the final version of the North American boxart, from the official website:

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes (3DS) comes out on October 23rd in Europe and North America, and later this year in Japan.
