The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom showcase set for March 28th, Breath of the Wild quiz announced
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom comes out in a little under two months, but Nintendo seems rather reluctant to show much of this highly awaited sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. But it looks like things are about to change, for the company has just announced that a video showcase will go live tomorrow (on March 28th)!
This video showcase will be hosted by none other than Eiji Aonuma (Series Producer), and will offer about 10 minutes of gameplay. No word on what will be showcased just yet, but there’s quite a few things Nintendo can cram into those 10 minutes!
The showcase will go live on Nintendo’s YouTube channel on March 28th at the following time:
- Europe: 4PM
- UK: 3PM
- North America (ET): 10AM
- North America (PT): 7AM
- Japan: 11PM
And for fans who really can’t wait for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Nintendo has also announced the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Test of Knowledge. It will take place from April 7th to April 9th, and will allow them to test their knowledge of the game.
What’s interesting about this Quiz is that it will take place simultaneously for all users, and will have scores and national rankings (Japan-only).
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Test of Knowledge will have a total of 4 sessions of 30 minutes, each with a different set of questions. You can participate in any or all of the sessions, if you want.
Here’s the rules:
- Each session has 30 questions.
- Each session lasts 30 minutes (including 3mn of standby time). The goal is to answer all 30 questions within that time limit
- Results are calculated that way: Correct Answers + Remaining Time (if more than 12 minutes left, you get 1 point per second of remaining time)
The questions are divided in several categories:
- Story
- Characters
- World
- Item
- Other
Nintendo warns against spoilers, but unless you have already played and beaten the game, it will be hard for you to get a decent score!

Session 1
- Europe: April 7th from 3PM
- UK: April 7th from 2PM
- North America (ET): April 7th from 10AM
- North America (PT): April 7th from 7AM
- Japan: April 7th from 10PM
Session 2
- Europe: April 8th from 3AM
- UK: April 8th from 2AM
- North America (ET): April 7th from 10PM
- North America (PT): April 7th from 7PM
- Japan: April 8th from 10AM
Session 3
- Europe: April 8th from 3PM
- UK: April 8th from 2PM
- North America (ET): April 8th from 10AM
- North America (PT): April 8th from 7AM
- Japan: April 8th from 10PM
Session 4
- Europe: April 9th from 3AM
- UK: April 9th from 2AM
- North America (ET): April 8th from 10PM
- North America (PT): April 8th from 7PM
- Japan: April 9th from 10AM

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Switch) comes out on May 12th worldwide.
