Splatoon 2: SplatNet 2 updated with Salmon Run shifts, more

Available via the Nintendo Switch Online app for smart devices, SplatNet 2 is a service for Splatoon 2 that allows you to check out various bits of info straight from your smartphone or tablet: stats of the latest matches, map rotation, etc.. There’s even a store where you can purchase the latest and freshest gear for your Inkling.

And today, the service received an update, with two new features added. The first one is about Salmon Run: you can now check out the Shifts schedule, allowing you to plan accordingly with your friends (to make sure everyone is online at the right time). You can also see which weapons will be supplied for the shifts (though only for the two most recent shifts), as well as this month’s gear.

The second new “feature” is pretty minor, but it does make a nice difference: the menu at the bottom of the screen was updated, giving you quick access to the shop for example. There’s also text below each icon, making it easier for a newcomers to understand what they are for.

Here’s some screenshots of that update for SplatNet 2:

Since SplatNet 2 is a webservice, you don’t have any update to download (not even for the Nintendo Switch Online app), everything is already up to date when you launch SplatNet 2!
